TELEVISION AERIAL INSTALLATION SERVICES
Aerial Fitters
Over the last twenty five years the technical skills, knowledge and experience required to be a competent aerial fitter has significantly increased. The basic skill to fix and align an aerial has always been essential – but the arrival of digital TV services has added an extra dimension to the aerial fitter’s trade.
Monitoring the signal quality and number of errors in the digital code is just one aspect of the job for an aerial fitter. Interconnecting TV equipment e.g. DVD players etc or hanging a TV on a wall bracket can take almost as long as the fitting of the aerial. With the arrival of High Definition TV, there is an increasing need for dedicated CAT6 cabling to allow sharing of TV services around the house. More work for the aerial fitting trade!!
